I can't sleep again, it's 1:06 am and I'm just sitting here thinking about body hair and gender as a performative concept and on and on. I'm really tired, but in that restless state where sleep seems almost impossible. It's especially frustrating because I know I have a really long day tomorrow also, and the less I sleep the harder it will be to stay focused and do the things I need to do. So bah, humbug.

I just discovered valerian-i'm having sleeping problems too, and my mom recommended it. You can get capsules at health food stores, and they smell and taste completely revolting and leave your hands smelly too, but they really relax you and get your mind to stop doing all that annoying stuff it does when you're trying to stop. It sort of reminded me of overdosing on kava root, but in a more pleasant way. You should check it out :) Hope you're sleeping peacefully by now...
